Classroom Flood
Now I'm not sure if I just attract floods or what, but I found out I can't do anything in my classroom until next week because the bizarre rain shower/hail storm flooded the school. My room and the other second grade teacher were hit the worst. Dumb. We have big fans that look like over sized whistles every where, in our rooms, down the hall, to dry out the carpet. Right when I thought I could sink my teeth in to get ready for the year, I have to wait again. Watch out everyone, the moment I can get back into my classroom there will be a whirlwind of an Aimee to accomplish everything.

Cereal Council
There is a favorite spot under some trees where a group of us in the ward go sit on Sunday evening (we sound like a bunch of people from the south...) Tonight, a couple of the guys went to their apartment to get cereal and milk. A couple of girls (one being my roommate) met them on the doorstep bowls in hand. Pretty soon the whole group was eating cereal in a circle under the tree. The guys move their couch onto the sidewalk every Sunday evening and the rest pull up lawn chairs or crash on the steps. While we ate cereal, we created the rules for Cereal Sunday Council. One must eat cereal with the spoon going a certain way, one must slurp the milk from the bottom of the bowl, and it must NOT be healthy cereal such as bran flakes etc. At first, we someone suggested the group be called "Cereal Killers" because we kill the cereal by eating it. Thanks for the suggestion, moving on-it was suggested we call it: come-out-and-eat-cereal-together-on-Sunday-night-under-the-tree. The concensus was call the group Cereal Council. Whatever we call it, a new club was just formed! So, if you have any suggestions for cereals to introduce at cereal council, I am your representative to contact.
