Ok Wow-Reality Check
So, I was thinking I was going to be fine during this triathlon sprint because I have been training since January. I got in the reservoir for the first time today. Oh my stinkin goodness! It's nothing like swimming in a pool, just to let you know. Anyone could see that but swimming in open water is unerving at times. You can't see in the water, it's sooo much colder than a pool, you aren't guided down a straight path with a guide rope, and there are a lot more people than just you in the lane. It was massively discouraging when this little group I was with blew me out of the water-almost literally. I started to get so nervous for the sprint because I feel unprepared, even though I have been swimming for months. My goal was going to be to complete it under 3 hours. Now my goal is just complete it. Anyone know a miracle for a swimmer going into a race on Saturday? I am going to go again tomorrow just to give myself another opportunity in the water. Hopefully tomorrow will prove to be a little more hopeful... :)

you'll do great! But yes, swimming in a pool is luxury, isn't it!? :) Good thing you went and tried open water BEFORE the day of the race, right?! :P) \
You'll do awesome! I can't wait to hear all about it! :)
