Quote from yesterday

One boy in my class was digging through the markers and talking to himself. I stopped to listen. He said "Red....yellow....and orange. The basic colors for a big boom." They were drawing comic strips for vocabulary words from the story we read for the week. It was cute the way he was so deliberate in choosing "basic" colors for a big boom. I wonder what other colors are needed that are classified as non-basic.
