::Advice from a 7 Year Old::
I was sitting with my class at the rug trying to get their attention once again from leaving their seats. This is always a challenge. This whole task became that much more challenging as I had a side conversation with one student. It went along the lines "Miss Christensen, you should get married. " (Yes, I should but that takes more than just me) I respond "Yes, I want to but I am still looking". He said "I will bring someone in for you" My response, "Thanks, just make sure he's taller than I am" (or something to that affect) he says, "He needs to be a man, not a boy" I agreed with him. He then says "He needs to be handsome too!" I lost it. I laughed out loud for a bit to the joy of the students. They laughed too, not really understanding the joke. I thanked this student for thinking of me and for the laugh. Who needs a match maker when you have seven year olds on your side?

Don't you just love kids' spirits?! Everything is just so simple in life---and that's how it should be! :) Thanks for sharing! You made me laugh and smile as well!
Hey Aimee
I love your post, it was even cuter than I remember it when you told. Less than two weeks till Conference. ;0)
Oh my heck, what a funny moment! I would have lost it, crying while laughing. They're so innocent, sometimes TOO innocent for their own good.
How adorable! That is so cute...what a darling little boy!
Thanks for the good laugh! I love the things that Little People tell the big people when we're willing to listen to them :)
This is too good! So be sure to take your camera with you at all times so when your little 7 year old match maker brings in your tall handsome husband (who will have no problems staying in his seat) you can take a pic and blog it for us!!
What a darling story!! tfs!!
PS. Can I put in a request for a Christmas gift? I'd like someone to take some photos of you (in a nice place like you did before) so I can have some updated ones to put on my blog. Hao ma? (okay?)
